The Bone & Blood Meal plant food provides a excellent combination of natural Nitrogen and Phosphate. This plant growth supplement is perfect for all flowers, ornamentals, shrubs and vegetables. The plant fertilizer is gentle on plants. Perfect for delicate roses and other flowers. This 6-7-0 Fertilizer contains 6% Nitrogen and 7% Phosphate and comes in a 3 lb. bag. Contains slow release Nitrogen for continual feeding and to reduce nitrogen burn. USE INSTRUCTIONS Vegetables: Use 8 lbs. of HI-YIELD BONE & BLOOD MEAL per 50 ft. of row area or 50 square feet of bed area. Mix with loose soil in bottom of trench or bed at time of planting. Water thoroughly after planting. Can also be applied as a side-dressing at 8 lbs. per 50 ft. of row. Work into surface soil and water thoroughly Geraniums, Mums, Roses, Azaleas, Shrubs, etc.: When planting, use 1/2 cup HI-YIELD BONE & BLOOD MEAL per plant and mix thoroughly with soil around roots. Water thoroughly after planting. For established plants, use1/2 cup per plant in early spring, just before buds sprout. Apply 1/4 cup after blooms have passed and again in mid-summer. Carefully work into surface soil and water thoroughly. Pansies, Tulip, Crocus, Daffodil, etc.: When planting bulbs in beds, use 4 lbs. of HI-YIELD BONE & BLOOD MEAL per 100 sq. ft. of bed area. Mix thoroughly with soil in bottom of bed before planting. For individual plants, place 2 tablespoons in bottom of planting hole and mix thoroughly with soil. Always water thoroughly after planting. For established bulbs, feed once in early spring and again after blooming is completed. Apply 4 lbs. per 50 square feet of bed area and carefully work into surface soil. Water in thoroughly.
